Terms of Service
These terms apply when you use the My New Style app and website. By creating an account or subscribing, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use My New Style.
Who can use My New Style
You must be at least 18 years old. You're responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity on your account.
Subscription
- My New Style's AI features require an auto-renewing subscription, currently $4.99 per month (or the local equivalent shown in the app). There is no free trial.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. The subscription renews automatically each month unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple Account settings. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the paid period.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.
- Usage limits apply (for example, a number of makeovers per month) so we can offer the service at this price. The current limits are shown in the app.
Your photos and content
- You keep ownership of the photos you upload. You give us permission to store and process them, including through our AI provider, only to provide the service to you.
- Only upload photos of yourself. Don't upload photos of other people, children, or anything you don't have the right to use.
- You may use your generated looks for personal, non-commercial purposes, including sharing them.
- You can delete your photos, looks or account at any time in the app.
AI-generated previews
Looks are AI-generated previews meant to give you an impression of a style. They may not be exact: details such as fit, color, fabric or your appearance can differ from reality. Hairstyle suggestions are illustrations, not professional advice. AI output can occasionally be inaccurate or unexpected; if a result seems inappropriate, please tell us.
Shopping and retailers
- We suggest similar items from third-party retailers. They are not the exact items in your AI-generated look, and we don't claim any brand made the items shown in a look.
- Purchases are made directly with the retailer, under the retailer's terms. We're not responsible for retailers' products, prices, availability, delivery or returns. Prices and availability may vary.
- Some links are affiliate links: we may earn a commission when you buy through them, at no extra cost to you.
Acceptable use
Don't misuse My New Style: no uploading other people's photos without permission, no attempts to create sexual, hateful or harmful images, no attempts to break, overload, reverse-engineer or bypass the security or limits of the service, and no use that breaks the law.
Our content
The app, its design, styles, sample images and software belong to My New Style and its licensors. You may not copy or resell them.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time in the app. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. Deleting your account doesn't cancel an Apple subscription; please cancel it in your Apple Account settings.
Disclaimers and liability
My New Style is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we don't guarantee the service will always be available or error-free, and we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be excluded.
Changes
We may update these terms. If changes are material, we'll tell you in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use My New Style after that means you accept the updated terms.
